Through May, the City has expended $4.769 billion and encumbered an additional $314.3 million, resulting in total obligations of $5.083 billion. This total is approximately $512.0 million, or 11.2 percent more than in FY2022. It also represents 87.0 percent of the total FY2023 approved budget, less than PICA’s projection of 91.7 percent.
