Conference Program: Fall 2017 Conference

The Pennsylvania Intergovernmental Cooperation Authority’s (“PICA”) fourth annual fall conference, The Path to Affordable Housing for All Philadelphians, was held at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia on October 26, 2017. Each year, PICA hosts a conference in the fall, on timely issues of interest to the fiscal stability and prosperity of the City of Philadelphia. The purpose of the event is to gather government officials, economists, policy-makers, academics, and other experts in the field to discuss strategies, ideas, and best-practices for addressing affordable and workforce housing challenges in Philadelphia.

Presenters at this year's conference included: Ms. Anne Fadullon, Director of Planning and Development, City of Philadelphia; Mr. Kevin Gillen, Ph.D., Senior Research Fellow, Lindy Institute for Urban Innovation, Drexel University; and Mr. Peter Angelides, Ph.D., from Econsult Solutions, Inc. These panelists presented their perspectives on the topic and led a lively discussion with the other attendees.
