On Thursday, October 25, 2018, PICA hosted a conference entitled Data-Driven Solutions for 21st Century City Governments at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia. The purpose of the Conference was to highlight the role of data in the day-to-day operations and policy offices in modern city governments.
Representatives from the city governments of Philadelphia and Baltimore were on hand to present on data-driven projects meant to guide policy decisions, increase transparency, and better engage citizens of the two cities. Additionally, Maia Jachimowicz joined us as moderator, adding insight and leading the group discussion.
