November 18, 2020--Today PICA held its Annual Fall Conference. The topic for the 2020 Fall Conference was The Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on State and Local Governments. The Conference was held via ZOOM video link for the first time.
PICA Fall Conference 2020 Program
Presenters Ryotaro Tashiro, Regional Economic Advisor for the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, Matthew Knittel, Executive Director of Pennsylvania's Independent Fiscal Office, and Marisa Waxman, Budget Director for the City of Philadelphia discussed the various fiscal and economic challenges faced by State and Local Governments as a result of the current Pandemic, both in the near and long term. The Conference was engaging and informative, and PICA wishes to thank the presenters, and all who attended the Conference.
